This backpack belonged to William (Bill) Lewis, one of the founders of Kingston Scout Museum. The walking stick was likely made from a dead branch found in the woods by a Scouter, then whittled away to make walking stick for hiking. The names were written by camp participants as a memento.

This Coleman lantern was made in Canada in the 1930s, and the globe is made from a kind of crystal called mica instead of glass. There are mica mines throughout Southeastern Ontario. Donated by George Keleher.
