Our Vision: To tell the story of the many who have been of the Scouting movement in Kingston, Ontario.
The Kingston Scout Museum has a mission to preserve the history of Scouting in Kingston, while promoting learning and encouraging youth to become a part of the movement. By displaying artifacts and documentation related to the movement’s history, the museum aims to bring back memories for those who have been a part of Scouting in the past. It also hopes to educate the public about the values and traditions of Scouting, increase understanding and appreciation for the movement, and inspire young people to get involved and become responsible citizens and leaders in their communities.
As part of the Museum’s mission, we are excited to offer outreach and educational programming. Our volunteers look forward to attending events in the community and showcasing various artifacts from our collections.
Are you a troop looking to learn more about the history of Scouting? Looking to add something educational to your upcoming event? We’d love to attend and display some of our artifacts! Get in touch with us at contact@kingstonscoutmuseum.ca.
